Mitt Romney made a courageous decision by adopting Paul Ryan as his choice for Vice President. Sir Humphrey explains:

While I think Ryan’s budget proposal that cut entitlements in order to preserve defense spending was completely wrong-headed, at least he offers thoughtful alternatives from a different point of view that might ultimately be beneficial. In any event, perhaps there might be something to choose between the two candidates beyond the level of ad hominem vitriol that they can marshal.
