Déjà Vu All Over Again

Real estate madness is gripping the San Francisco area, of course driven by the stock bubble and “tech” company stock options. Example here – 2 bedroom house listed for $1.5M, sold for $2.1M. Employees of the “tech” companies are buying and living in the city, riding buses operated by their employers to work every day. The entitled city residents are of course rioting because their rent-controlled nirvana is being disturbed by these outsiders.

As usual, this will not end well.
