HCQ Redux

The stench of corruption around Big Pharma’s attempted (and so far mostly successful) suppression of HCQ is growing worse.

The strategy is obvious:

1. Ensure that HCQ is only evaluated in situations where it is known not to work, i.e. when the infection has spread to the lungs.
2. Make sure that HCQ is evaluated alone without the partner drugs, zinc and azithromycin, that make the effective treatment.
3. Encourage trials to use excessive dosage to generate cardiac side effects and publicize them to discourage patient enlistment in trials.
4. Push Gilead’s remdesivir as the treatment of choice.

Despite this, doctors are using it with good results. Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch refutes the strategy point by point. Read the full document, it is a shocking indictment of Big Pharma and its partner “regulators.”

Further trials have shown remdesivir as useless. It continues to be promoted anyway, even for prophylactic use for which it has never been tested.

More herehere and here.

According to Reuters, the US has delivered two million doses of the antimalarial medicine hydroxychloroquine to Brazil to fight COVID-19, the White House said, even after Facebook and Twitter took down posts from President Jair Bolsonaro where he touted the unproven but some say promising medication as a “miracle drug”.

I believe this is a conspiracy involving Big Pharma and individuals at the regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, the FDA and the CDC. I hope there will be an investigation as the truth inevitably comes out, thanks to brave souls such as Dr. Risch. If my suppositions are even partially correct, those involved in this conspiracy need to be charged with murder. And yes, this is a conspiracy theory. That doesn’t mean it is wrong, conspiracies happen but they are difficult to sustain. All it takes is one rat.

Edit: The death rate of Covid-19 patients in India is lowest in the world

What is MHRA and ANSM saying about HCQ, or are they all in cahoots?

UK has just begun a large clinical trial. Don’t know if they are using the partner drugs or not. See the Yale paper. Didier Raoul is using HCQ in France, but I haven’t seen any “official” comment.
